Exemplary Competencies
An exemplary competency level means I have developed a strong skill set and knowledge base within a particular area of student affairs. In order to illustrate my advanced knowledge, skills, and attitude for each of these competencies, I have written a two page narrative describing the different activities that helped me grow in these areas, and included artifacts to provide examples of my experiences. Proficient Competencies
Being proficient in a competency means I have acquired some knowledge and skills within certain areas of the field, but still have significant room for development. Acceptable Competencies
Acceptable competencies are those in which I have a basic understanding, but have not had a lot of experience with in my work at this point in my career.
